SOMETHING NEW IN OUR LIBRARY

BOOK BUDDY PROGRAM BOOK REVIEW PANEL DRAMATIC READING IN LIBRARY

A Book Buddy Program pairs older and younger students to read together, promoting better reading habits. Younger students read better and understand more, while older students improve their reading and gain confidence. Older students become mentors, learning responsibility, and younger students receive help and support. The program makes reading fun and positive, encouraging lifelong reading habits. It also builds friendships between different grades and improves social skills and emotional understanding. This program creates a supportive reading culture that benefits all students.

A Book Review Panel pairs higher-grade students with junior students to discuss and review books. This helps younger students improve their reading and understanding, while older students enhance their leadership and communication skills. It encourages a love for reading by making it fun and engaging. The program also builds strong relationships and improves social skills across different grades, creating a supportive reading environment for all.

Dramatic reading in schools enhances story understanding by connecting students with characters' emotions, making the text easier to grasp. It improves reading fluency, encourages expressive reading, and makes reading fun and interactive, boosting student motivation.
