Activity 2: Shadow Puppet Theater
Reading Promotion Week – Library Activity
The Shadow Puppet Theater activity was organized to encourage creativity, storytelling, and expression among students. Students created shadow figures using their hands and a light source and drew diagrams showing hand movements and shadow results.
They wrote a short five-sentence story based on their shadow character and performed a 30-second puppet show at home. Family members assisted in recording the performance, making the activity engaging and interactive.
This activity improved imagination, language skills, and confidence while promoting learning through art and storytelling.
