Reading Promotion Week-2--BOOK EXHIBITION

"Books are like a form of time travel; they can take you to any place and time."
 — Arundhati Roy

On October 24, 2024, we kicked off Reading Promotion Week with a vibrant book exhibition in our library. This event celebrated the enchanting world of literature and invited our community to explore new adventures through reading.

Books have a remarkable ability to transport us and ignite our imaginations. Our exhibition featured a diverse array of titles, showcasing stories that resonate with readers of all ages. It was inspiring to see so many passionate readers engaging in activities like reading challenges and book talks, sharing their favorites and discovering new stories together.

Reading is essential for personal growth and critical thinking. By promoting it, we encourage lifelong learning and empathy within our community. We invite everyone to continue celebrating the joy of reading throughout the week. Thank you to all who helped make our launch day a success—let’s keep the magic of books alive!

Celebrating UN Day at the Library

On October 24th, our library celebrated United Nations Day with a special book exhibition featuring works from international authors. The event highlighted different stories that reflect the UN's goals of promoting peace and human rights.

We also held discussions with students about what UN Day means. We talked about global citizenship and how reading can help us understand each other better. Students shared their ideas on how stories can inspire us to address important issues in the world.

Our celebration reminded everyone of the importance of working together and being responsible global citizens. Through books and conversations, we hope to inspire a commitment to the values of the United Nations every day. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
